Pink Flamingos and the Law of Attraction

Flamingos...how did I ever get started collecting flamingos? Oh, Bertha reminds me that it was because of her. It was about four years ago, I was writing Bertha-Size Your Life! and I wanted a symbol to represent that anything was possible and the Law of Attraction. It needed to be something different for me...something outside of my usual box. It needed to stand out.
Bertha bounced through with the perfect idea...flamingos...pink flamingos. I argued a bit. I didn't even like flamingos. I thought the ones in people's yards were tacky...I wouldn't want them in my yard...tacky...
But Bertha was persistent. I wrote the story Pink Flamingos and suddenly flamingos started flocking to me. Before I knew what had hit me,there were flamingos in my garden, flamingos on my desk, people were sending me flamingo cards, I was wearing flamingo socks, not to mention that my logo is a flamingo with 'JC' legs...who knew Law of Attraction would work so well?
Well, Bertha did...duh?! Bertha knew all along that what we give our attention to is what shows up in our lives...whether we like it or not...she knew that focusing on the things we really want brings them into our lives...in fact...she gets her point across so well...why don't you read Pink Flamingos for yourself?
And if you enjoyed that...then you'll love the book Bertha-Size Your Life! You can order from any of the on-line sources and autographed copies are available through our website.
Who would you get if you crossed Lucy with a popular talk show host? Why Bertha, of course!A zany redhead, who is always up to something and drags her sidekick along with her while she's dispensing down-home wisdom and perky advice for finding balance and joy in one's life.Throw in a conniving nemesis, an antagonistic cat, lime green spandex and high-heels and you've got a book that's sure to tickle your funny bone and leave you wearing your thinking cap as you read and reread each vignette.

I would like to thank Jane for her compassionate approach to my motivational sessions with her. She has opened my eyes, heart and mind. She has helped me to start learning to like, respect and accept myself. Her sessions are honest and eye opening. Following a session I know I have good suggestions, advice and an honest take on my situation. Jane doesn't sugar coat it, she tells it like it is and that's what I need. I would refer her to anyone, I think she does a fantastic job helping me to help myself, she's like the kick in the butt I need sometimes and the shoulder to cry on at the same time. She is not judgemental, critical she helps me to look at things from a positive persective and not stay stuck in despair or overwhelmed. I thank you Jane for your GOD given gift and talent to help others help themselves with your guidance, laughter, funny jokes, direction, suggestions, advice, tips, and even the homework. Reply to this
