Button Up!

"Button up!" It's winter and mothers all across America are exclaiming those words ump-teen times a day. Now, Bertha isn't a mother but she seems to have joined their ranks and tells me to button up at least 10 times a day and it has nothing to do with cold weather!
So if it's not about the weather, what could it be about? You probably realize by now, that with Bertha it's never exactly what you think it's going to be. And this is no exception.
Every time I open my mouth to discuss a problem, concern or worry...Bertha reminds me to "Button Up!" Her reference is to the child's game we used to play when we would button our lips demonstrating that we wouldn't say a word. I know that this sounds a bit rude, but in reality Bertha is doing me a favor. See, Bertha knows...and I do, too...I just tend to forget...that the more we talk about our problems the more problems we get. It's all about Law of Attraction...problems attract problems.
After my lips are buttoned for a moment and we've quit giggling, we shift the conservation to the solutions that I want. It's amazing how quickly the energy shifts and the solutions seem possible.
Got a problem? Try buttoning up...at least until you're ready to talk about solutions and desires!
Button Up! is one of Bertha's favorite games for increasing your vibration and realizing your dreams. You can hear more of these after the upcoming 1/16/07 interview with Carla Blazek on http://www.lovingliferadioshow.com/ . I know you'll love the show!
Who would you get if you crossed Lucy with a popular talk show host? Why Bertha, of course!A zany redhead, who is always up to something and drags her sidekick along with her while she's dispensing down-home wisdom and perky advice for finding balance and joy in one's life.Throw in a conniving nemesis, an antagonistic cat, lime green spandex and high-heels and you've got a book that's sure to tickle your funny bone and leave you wearing your thinking cap as you read and reread each vignette.
